BentFish Ratings
Stick Ratings
Flick: This shows the consistency and size of flicks off both the front and inside edges. A high score indicates 3-4m distance and 30-60cm height consistently. A mid-range score would be 2.5-3.5m and 20-40cm height.
Tackle: This corresponds to the angle and depth of the hook, how easy it is to tackle people with the back edge and how hard it is to remove the puck from your back edge.
Handling: This indicates how easy it is keep the puck touching your stick, how fast the stick can do skills and retain control and how well all faces of the blade can be used to move the puck. Beware when selecting sticks with high handling ability - just because the stick moves like lightning doesn't mean you can (i.e. you don't teach people to drive in a formula one car).
Power: How hard the stick hits, how far it throws. Smash somebody with a scalpel and you'll be lucky to come out with the puck, smash them with an axe and they'll be lucky to have their stick intact. Sticks with high power levels are good for stopping people on the wall, punching through tackles and settling the puck when it bobbles.

Example: The rating above shows a stick primed for fast skilful handling. It's power and tackling are poor, so it probably wouldn't suit a defender. It's flick is still quite high, so it should throw reasonable, low, fast passes off all edges. It would be useless for punching the puck off your opponent, but great for using skill to slip it off their front edge before they realised you were even there.
